Amigos Bowling Centre Arboleas

The Mayor of Arboleas, Mr Francisco Perez Miras, is delighted to announce today that a prestigious entertainment centre will open in the area in the summer of 2007. The Amigos Bowling Centre S.L. (ABC) have decided to build a new fully automated 12 lane Ten Pin Bowling Centre in the Arboleas area. The Centre will also offer customers a café/bar facility plus internet café, American pool tables and other gaming and vending activities.

The ground breaking ceremony took place today on the proposed new site. Mr Paul Bourke, Managing Director of ABC said “We decided to come to this area after extensive and careful research, which indicated the growth in population has been dramatic and projected to continue. The area is in great need of a leisure/social facility for local people and visitors to the area “. Mr Bourke also said “the Mayor, Mr Francisco Perez Miras and Proder played a very instrumental role in ensuring that this new Centre was located in the Arboleas/Albox area”. Mr Perez Miras, Mayor of Arboleas, said “This new entertainment centre is exactly the type of new business and investment we want to bring to the area. It will provide exciting leisure activities for the local and surrounding communities

The new Centre is planned to open in July 2007. The Centre will operate 7 days a week, offering fun and entertainment for people of all ages. Mr Bourke said “Ten Pin Bowling is one of Europe’s fastest growing sports. It appeals to people of all ages and being a very social activity makes it fun for all”. The bowling installation and equipment will be of the latest design and technology supplied and fitted by Switch Logistics SRL of Modena, Italy. The construction of the facility which is located at Poligono Industrial, Los Llanos in Arboleas will be carried out by Cypesur Ingenieros S.L.. Mr Cristóbal Garéia Granados and Francisco Sanchez Garéia of Cypesur Ingenieros S.L., said “we are delighted to have been selected to work on this project and construct the new Centre “.

The new Centre will provide employment for local people and at peak times may employ more than 20 staff. Mr César Martin Cuadrado, Director of Proder, said “this type of business is what we are committed to bringing to the area, providing employment and entertainment for all”.

Finance for the project will be by way of private investment and Santander Bank of Arboleas.
